I'm a born and raised New Englander, living in the Boston area now. I've adopted the phrase "did you even October if you weren't in New England?" and in that spirit, I thought I'd get you ready for the season ahead.

Growing up, my hometown gave every kid the first day of the fall fair off from school. That first Friday in October excitement never really leaves you. It's literally what I was raised on. Fall weddings in New England are so beautiful. Crisp air that's still warm during the day and cool at night, leaves at their peak, and some incredible sunsets. Which means it's time for the dark, rich jewel tones that match the foliage backdrop.
